All the doctors carry out antenatal and postnatal care in conjunction with the midwife. If you think you are pregnant, Please make an appointment to see the doctor who will then start the booking process. Please refer to our practice leaflets and  to the pregnancy care planner on this website. If you have any concerns regarding your pregnancy see the doctor or midwife.

All doctors offer contraceptive services. Should you require any contraception, from "the pill" to sterilisation (including vasectomy), please arrange to see the doctor. It is important that all women taking the contraceptive pill see the nurse at least every 6 months for a contraceptive review which may include a blood pressure check. It is your responsibility to ensure that you make your appointment in plenty of time so that you do not run out of your pill. If you have any questions or concerns, please make an appointment with the doctor or nurse.

Please note the contraceptive pill is not a routine repeat prescription and you must be seen.

Contraceptive Implants and Coil Fittings: One of our doctors is trained to on contraceptive implants and coil fitting. Two appointments are necessary for this. Please ring reception for more details

NHS Health Checks

Redbridge is providing a free service for patients between 40 and 74 years old who have no diagnosis of cardiovascular disease.  It is primarily a preventative service which involves risk assessment and management of risk of cardiovascular disease. If you are interested in having a health check please ask at reception.

You will need to go for a blood test, before coming back to meet with the nurse / HCA to go through the results, and any other contributing factors that may be effecting your health - lifestyle, weight, diet etc.
